Democratic progressive Party spokesperson Shadreck Namalomba has issued a strong public warning against individuals forging his signature to spread false information, saying he will not tolerate such acts any longer.
“I am the party spokesperson, and there is no other.I will not condone any person forging my signatures to fulfill their propagandistic missions. This should be the last time. You are warned.”Namalomba declared on his Facebook page.
His remarks come after reports surfaced that several fake statements allegedly signed by him had been circulating on social media, sparking confusion among party members and the general public.
Namalomba described the forgeries as a deliberate attempt to tarnish his reputation and destabilize the party’s communication system.
He emphasized that only verified information from his office should be trusted, warning perpetrators that they will face legal action.
“This behavior is unprofessional, criminal, and damaging to the integrity of our institution.Anyone found guilty of these acts will be held accountable,”he said.
The party has since launched an internal investigation to trace the origins of the fake statements, while urging supporters to rely solely on official communication channels.
Namalomba concluded by assuring the public that all genuine statements from him will bear proper authentication and be shared only through verified party platforms.
His firm tone left no doubt the misuse of his name and signature has crossed the line and those behind it have been put on notice.
