US Reggae Star Reemah to Headline Reggae Jam Festival Malawi

Celebrated United States–born reggae sensation Reemah is set to headline this year’s Reggae Jam Festival Malawi, organisers have announced.

For the first time ever, the “Don’t Want Nothing” hitmaker will share the stage with some of Malawi’s finest reggae and dancehall acts, including Chizmo, Blasto, Kommuniq, and Queen Fyah.

The highly anticipated festival, powered by Jah Kings Promotion, is scheduled for December 20 at the Grand Business Park in Lilongwe.

According to Jah Kings Promotion partner Richard Chisala, having an international reggae icon like Reemah perform alongside local stars is a huge boost for the country’s growing reggae scene.

> “It’s inspiring to see a powerful female reggae voice like Reemah sharing the stage with our own talented artists. This will be a special moment for Malawian reggae lovers,” Chisala said.


He further revealed that Reemah’s Africa Tour will also make stops in Senegal and The Gambia, making the Malawi performance one of her key highlights on the continent.
