A 25-year-old bag seller from Chikwawa, Enock Chauya, has won a motorbike worth K5 million after placing a K200 bet in Premier Loto’s Instant Motorbike & Cash promotion.
Chauya, who is married and has one child, described the win as a life-changing moment.
He said he plans to use the motorbike to start a Kabaza (motorcycle taxi) business to improve his family’s livelihood.
> “This win has come at the right time. I have been struggling to make ends meet, and now I can start my own Kabaza business,” Chauya said with excitement.
Premier Loto Retail Manager Joseph Malonda said the promotion, which began in September, allows participants to win instantly by matching at least three numbers or three motorbike symbols on a ticket.
> “Each number on the ticket corresponds to a cash prize of up to K10 million. If a player matches three numbers or three printed motorbikes, they instantly win the corresponding prize,” Malonda explained.
He also urged players to practice responsible betting, emphasizing that the promotion is meant to entertain while offering opportunities to win prizes.
